Since March, the national epidemic has suddenly broken out. Jilin and Shanghai have unfortunately been recruited, and have entered a state of closure one after another, and scattered cases have also been reported in other parts of the country, including major cities in Changchun, Jinan, Tangshan, and Jiangsu, etc. Wait until sooner or later to start the lockdown. When the epidemic broke out on such a large scale, of course, the broad masses of the people were the first to be affected. Whether it was the big whites who were on the front line fighting the epidemic, or the ordinary people who were quarantined, they were all under unparalleled pressure. Secondly, companies from all walks of life are seriously affected, because the supply chain is broken. Stronger than SAIC Volkswagen, Tesla has stopped production, not to mention some small, medium and micro enterprises. Keeping it going has become the only goal of many companies during this period. However, even in such a war for the survival of enterprises without gunpowder smoke, some people are happy and others are sad.

Over the past few days, we have been receiving over-orders from several customers in a row, and the reasons are quite surprising:

It turned out that more orders went to them. Because of the impact of the epidemic, logistics was suspended, raw material manufacturers stopped production, and the supply chain was interrupted, causing their competitors to fail to deliver goods, but precisely, the supply chains of our customers above did not affected too much.

Supply chains have always been important, but never more so than today. In the digital age, the earth is not only flatter, but also smaller, and success or failure depends on the speed of connection, circulation and response.

The sub-industry in which Proton is located, hot vulcanized adhesives, is also facing the risk of supply cuts recently. This out of stock has caused some rubber product manufacturers in the country to directly stop production, and there is no way to do it; there are also some lucky people who have taken the orders from these companies that have stopped production and continue to produce, and the orders have skyrocketed, because Polyton escorted them. Of course, many of those customers who stopped production later found us, so Proton was fortunate to be able to serve them.

The production plant of Polytonis not in Shanghai, but the local area has also been closed and controlled for a period of time due to the impact of the epidemic. However, before we knew that there was a possibility of closure and control, we had arranged for all production employees to move into the factory and work overtime to ensure delivery. Due to the need to do nucleic acid and some disinfection work every day, but the order volume is higher than in the past, it is normal to work overtime until one or two in the morning. Fortunately, the catering guarantees in the Polyton factory are quite good, and the production colleagues are not exhausted.

The small partners of the Polyton R&D Center in Shanghai, the center of the national epidemic, have not been idle at home, and have also settled in the company before the lockdown. Therefore, the research and development side has not fallen behind, and we are also doing our best to meet the needs of new product development and customer testing. Of course, the company's security for these colleagues' materials is still very sufficient. The little friends work hard during the day and sleep together at night. The joke seems to be back to the college days.

Domestic adhesives are facing a supply crisis, and the same is true abroad. Recently, the foreign trade department of Polyton has received a large number of inquiries from foreign trade customers. Rubber products companies in some countries that also rely on imports of adhesives are looking for alternatives around the world. What Polyton is doing now is that we can take it easy in the face of any possible crisis in the future.

Rooftops are inseparable from each other, and one tree is full of flowers and two places are fragrant. Under the epidemic situation, there are many difficulties.
